hey guys!! i too, am late in posting.

i think we've read a good many blogs about rapture, and they all echo how we all feel.. its really strange to sit at the dance table in the mornings, look at each other and ask, "what are you doing today, after school?", only to meet blank stares and "i don't know"s.. sigh. my classmates have gotten used to me clinging onto my sweater whenever im not wearing it. its the rapture withdrawal symptoms, its worse than last yr..!!

anyway, a big THANK YOU to everyone involved, cos without you, rapture wouldnt have been a success. :] to my fellow j2s, HEY, theres alumni for esplanade next yr..!! we'll always be dancers, part of sa dance society.

post-Rapture withdrawal symptoms.

hey guys, i know this comes a week late. :] but i've been a busy shit, what w catching up on both academic work and rest, i'm sure you guys have been too.

so post-Rapture w/drawal symptoms have caught up w me, and it's high time i wrote a huge i love you all!! [hahaha that is so retarded. it's literally 'huge' cuz e font i selected was 'huge'. hahaha. okay cheap thrill.]

i have actually blogged extensively about this on my personal weblog, but i think most o you dont have my passwrd. 's okay, i'll tell you when i see you in sch. :]

anyways, w Rapture done, doesnt it feel strange to not run to e studio when sch finishes? to end school and go 'okay okay i gtg for dance!!' to your friends, but then STOP in yr tracks and go 'eh. i DONT have dance.' hahahaha. ystdy [Sat], i woke up at about 8, going 'O SHIT I'M GONNA BE LATE TO OPEN E STUDIO' and then aft realising I HAD NO DANCE i flopped back into bed. its' gonna take some getting used to. :[

well i miss each and every one o you for hours in e studio. it's nice seeing us all in e caf, bumping into each other, and saying 'hi' w those little smiles that creep across our faces, those special smiles that light up on our faces only when we see fellow dancers, cuz we've got these shared experiences o sweat blood tears and laughter that constitute that invisible bond we have. :]

it's lovely seeing brown sweaters on our backs ard sch, screaming 'eat sleep dance repeat'. :]

well all i can say is GOOD JOB guys, it's been a PLEASURE and an HONOUR being part o this magnificent team. i cant believe it- i've been in gym in SC for 4 years, and in SA Dance for 2 years. less than that, in fact. and i feel so much more attached to dance.. :] o well. has to be you ppl. :] none o us pulled Rapture off alone.. so thanks SO MUCH for being part o this wonderful memory woven with extremeties in emotions. [ie SHIT i have 2354347 blisters, and HEEHEE E ITEM LOOKS SO NICE]

i will always remember e times all 50+ o us would crowd on stage, w e curtain down, to pray. Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam- For the greater glory o God. :]

The costumes were suppose to come in on Wednesday however, it's going to be hectic as it's Learning Festival and we've all got different courses at different times. Which means that everybody will be walking in and out and in and out and in and out and in and out and in and out of the studio! AND, there will also be a hip-hop course being conducted in the studio!

So to make it more convenient and to prevent disruptions, please bring in your costumes TOMORROW!!!

If you haven't washed your costumes yet (eewww!!! that's like 2 days of bacteria conglomerating and breeding!!) wash it NOW and leave it under the air-con to dry!!

Late fines of $1 PER COSTUME PIECE will apply!! (muuahahahha!)

hey ppl! thks so much for putting in effort in todae clean up session. the dance is much neater now. we just need to practice more with music. Right now zaki is quite woried about our item so let just do a good job tml and show him that we can do it k? the ribbon ppl..remember wat we clean up yest. lets press on!
btw, to prevent ani misunderstanding or wat..im not joining u all for the dance coz the doc sae i have overworked and thus having low blood pressure. its not bcoz of other stuffs. so i hope u guys will understand and not be angry(if u all do).

Aye people. we didn't come up with a duty roster for the fun of it you know. i cease to wonder why there are still a lot of rubbish in the bin and around it although the duty roster is up. cummon people you gotta cooperate. even if it's not your turn today, it doesn't take much for just one of you to help clear up the area and empty the bin. please let this be the first and the last time. from tomorrow onwards, if the bin is still in a terrible mess as it has always been, the people on duty for that day will be fined. if it happens again, i think it is just right to impose fines on everyone. you are part of the dance society, you own the dance studio. please start acting like you do if you think you don't. cooperation people. thank you.

Beaute-good job girls. It's fantabulous! pls remember you have to get your pink stockings for the item. All ballet dancers who finish their class early, report to dance studio at four on tuesday to make the hair accesories.

Jubilation- good job girls! it's a great run today. Anyways i could feel the happiness surging inside of your heart and the unleashing of exuberence today! pls bring twenty dollars for your leotards on tues. alright, i have a prob in getting character shoes for everyone. If you can, please try to borrow around from your friends. I will try my best to get as many pairs as possible.
We will try to have a run on tues with shoes:)

reminder for j1s (geeks or freaks)

hey guys!i hope we all know the steps like the back of our hands already...but if u don't...heh u know what to do huh..go home and practise, visualise, mull over it, or whatever u nid to do to get it drilled in before Rapture!=)

Anyway, to make sure that the dance fund doesn't explode from the overload of fines on Monday, please bring your tube tops back with the pretty sequins nicely sewn on!The design/pattern of the sequins is random so u can be creative! and i know we got quite alot of sequins that day, but using all may make it look abit..er...overcrowded?so ya,moderation is the key to a healthy lifestyle!(okok, not funny...)*grins*

Also, pls start sewing the velcro and button on ur white shirt! I think some of u don't have the Velcro yet coz u were absent when we were giving it out, so please come and get it from me coz i don't know who u r!

Tip:
1) sew short strips of velcro (makes it easier to strip!) to top half of shirt (coz we'll be tying the bottom half haha)
2) sew 'pop' button (remember to go get it urselves!) right at the top of the shirt where the first button is (point is to look nerdy haha so bear with it)

Oh my...Rapture's coming in 7 days! please take good care of urselves! and remember to smile smile smile and enjoy urselves while performing coz that's the most important!

apparently this wasnt passed down properly, so dancers please take note:

we will be using STAGE MAKE UP for SYF in the city. therefore all you need to bring:
- brush for drawing yr eyeliner [bristles must be fine and soft]
- fake eyelashes
- bun net
- safety pins

hair pins will be provided.

tmr for e stage make up lesson-

Chichi will be demonstrating on Arhmarhndarh. so WATCH and LEARN, there'll be no hands-on.

Rapture

In exactly 2 weeks at this point of time, we'll all be in Kallang theatre, getting ready with make-up, costumes and our handphones. It is going to be fun as usual. I can't wait for that day to come. Dancers, we all can do it, it's only in 2 weeks and we can do well. Let's blown Kallang theatre down with the audience appaulse.

We can finally get off from dance and concentrate on our A levels. Imagine, 4 weeks to prelims after Rapture. How great can that be. I guess we got to really make use of free periods to start studying before dying 3 weeks before prelims. haha.

I got to say that you people improved tremendously. I can see EVERYONE putting in the amount of effort that they can, and it's a pleasure to watch you guys dance. Perservance.

(1) No Eating and Drinking while u are sitting at the booth! Anybody seen by me will get a heavy fine.

(2) Get the money before passing them the tickets. Absolutely No Booking of tickets.

- if anyone would like to go down to their ex-sec schs but have forgotten to msg me, msg me ASAP. but i'm not sure whether it'll get thru cuz Ms Sab needs to write letters.

GUYS good job on selling Sat tickets out completely.. now it's FRIDAY!! work hard at selling guys.. no one likes performing to a theatre that isnt full anyways. e feeling performing to a full house is fwah. ;] and we have that on Sat, so why limit it to only then? SELL FRI TICKETS!! w all yr might!! :] haahah.

ck post.

i think i might be a little late to comment about ck's post, but here i am.

i dont know why are you feeling this way, but i totally agree with what weiliang, kelly and sam had said. god gave you a gift to dance, but why are you not accepting it? i am no christian but i know that god would not take away something that he gave you away. he wants you to dance and that's why you are in dance for a year plus.

put it in this way, pulling out of an item stirrs up alot of problems for zaki and the remaining dancers. i think we are all loaded with items and we thought that syf is something that we should not worry about, and now, we have to reblock all the way from the top to the bottom. where's the fantastic lift that you and yj did? no one is able gonna do that because they are occupied with other partners.

all i think ck, you should do, is to accomplish this dance. just dance twice and no one will stop you from stopping to dance again. it's irresponsible of you just to leave like this. wl said something that i totally agree, the world doesnt revolve around you. but if you want to leave just like that, i think everyone will just hate you, but like what kelly said, we'll adapt.

so reconsider your decision, ck.

anyway, dance on saturday! kelly, i would really need your help. i forgot majority of the steps! hahah!
