i hope all of you remember that we have a performance tomorrow night at RP.
(not full dress ah, its the actual show)
haha so please remember to bring your
make-up, hair spray, safety/bobby pins,
foot thongs, COSTUME (orgasmic outer layer and maroonish body suit), girls your nude leotards.
i hope i didnt forget anything.

oh be in your BLACK sa dance shirt and slacks when we go there.
keep your Saints On Stage shirt for saturday.
bring your pull-over cos it might be quite cold.
hmm what else.. oh bring an extra shirt/slacks if you're gonna perspire alot cos we'll be practising before we go there.
and snacks in case you're gonna be hungry (:

after your GP paper tomorrow
meet in the studio ASAP.
please dont take your own sweet time.
we'll practise outside the GO till about 1? depending on whatever time we start.
the bus will leave at 2 so you guys have an hour to cool down and have lunch.
sounds okay?

i think we'll have a run through onstage when we get to RP.
please make use of that short time onstage to mark your blockings and get a good feel of the stage.
i know this isnt syf, but its still a performance with our reputation on the line.
and obviously we want to leave people with good things to say about SA dance society yes? (:
plus we're kinda representing zaki as one of his schools so.. haha.
you know what im talking about la yeah.

hey guys
i know i've totally been neglecting the dance blog.
the syf period was a crazy one and after that i kinda didnt know what to blog about.
forgetting that the whole objective of the blog (other than sending out messages to the current dancers) was to keep the alumni informed about whats going on.
SO PLEASE DONT KILL ME. D:

so in case you havent heard (haha which i doubt)
SA Dance got a Gold award at this year's SYF central judging.
which many of us had mixed feelings about initially..
but i think as a team, we brought back so much more than just the gold.
its so heartening to see how much we've all grown from the experience
and how strong we stood by each other during the whole syf period.
i <3 the 2009 syf team. (:

two days (YES I MEAN TWO DAYSSSSSSSSSSSSS) after syf
we had a guest performance at the indoor stadium for the Li Wei Song Si Song Concert
where we were doing back-up dancing for the opening item which was like uhm 13 mins? or sth.
it was quite cool, cos majority of us never got an oppurtunity to perform at the indoor stadium before.
btw the link to that performance is on the tagboard.
Red was there and took a video of us. (thanks alot !!)

oh yeah speaking of videos..
the syf video hasnt been uploaded on youtube yet.
but will let you know once we find it there !

so right now,
we're currently preparing for another guest performance at RP next friday and saturday, Momentum.
we'll be doing the syf item again.
i heard tickets have been totally sold out.
(which is quite omg because it means this concert is quite a big thing
AND it means we are kinda screwed cos we only had TWO practices with zaki before friday's show)
why only two practices?
cos of our awesome exams. our GP paper is like on the 29th also. so hahahha we are really quite screwed.
ah but we'll try to squeeze in one practice next week. and before we head down to RP on friday. :/

pl (hahaha inside joke) take note that the tea thing that mrs chia was talking about next wednesday
is gonna be at Goodwood Park Hotel Coffee Lounge (next to Far East)
the hi-tea (is it HIGH tea or hi tea?) is from 2.45pm to 5pm and you're supposed to make your way there yourself.
so if you end at like 230 or something, i suggest you grab a few people and share a cab.
cos really i think none of you will want to waste time travelling. ahem haha.
sounds expensive right? and its like a hotel so the food must be like :9
